Yannis Roussos was born and grew up in Syros. He has studied in Greece and abroad. He has collaborated with many musicians and composers, with whom he has performed in many countries. In 2010 he founded in Syros the Contemporary Music School (CMS).

Along with the amazing musicians Dimitris Kalantzis, Dinos Manos and Dimitris Papadopoulos, they present his own original compositions and arrangements of well-known jazz standards through personal feelings and improvisations using the expressive possibilities of their instruments.
