Solis Barki was born in Athens. He is a musician, comedian and deals with illustration and comics. He has been taught Mediterranean, Persian and African percussion by Michalis Klapakis and Lefteris Grigoriou. He specializes in a wide variety of percussion instruments from around the world as well as other types of musical instruments such as the didjeridoo, with which he creates rich sound colors and vivid images.

He was a member of bands such as “Magic Carpet”, “Theros”, “Dingo”, “LyrAvlos” and has collaborated with musicians such as Ross Daly, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Mimis Plessas, Vasilis Rakopoulos, Zohar Fresco and many more in concerts in Greece and abroad.

He has participated in many recordings, while he also participates in theatrical and dance groups, such as the National Theater, as well as in fairy tale and storytelling performances.
